as long as the sun rises + sets, that's how long i'll love you: family shoot

when this beautiful little family asked me to be their photographer, I was overjoyed to say the least.

between the date of them asking & the morning of the shoot, we got to know each other & connected on a deeper level - that’s the beauty of this magical community my little family & I have found ourselves in. Between barbecues & weekend birthdays we were well acquainted.. not to mention Bec is now my brand, spankin’ new business partner! So by the time the shoot came around, they already knew how kooky + fun my shoots probably are. The first time I met bec + her beautiful bubba, Delaney, I just instantly loved them.

This day was special to say the least, every photo I clicked through the editing process made me feel like dying with joy (a good way to go I guess). It was amazing to do what I love WITH the people I love. I think I am quickly realising that anyone who I get to photograph, will be people I end up digging the sh*t out of!

I hope you enjoy the magic of this family as much as I do & try not to die from just how friggin adorable their bubba is! They are inspiring, juggling work + fam life, & so graciously. They have been through so much & all it has done in the long run is soften them & made them even more gracious.
